Transit Systems secures Region 6 Bus Contract to operate services in Inner Western Sydney
Australian-owned Transit Systems will welcome 1,200 new staff members and a fleet of 600 buses as of 1 July, 2018, transitioning NSW’s largest ever public bus operation after being awarded the Region 6 Bus Services Contract covering Sydney’s inner west.

Transit Systems, Australia’s largest privately owned public transport contractor, has today announced its intention to tender for the Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) Integrated Service Offering (ISO) operating contract in Newcastle.
Having built a market leading transportation business in Australia over the last two decades, Transit Systems CEO Clint Feuerherdt said the company has since benefited from the global experience gained by its International spin-off, Tower Transit.

Transit Systems has today sold its marine transport division (‘Transit Systems Marine’) to the SeaLink Travel Group (‘SeaLink’). SeaLink, an ASX listed company (ASX: SLK), has acquired 100% of Transit Systems Marine operations. The sale includes all of Transit Systems’ ferry operations in Queensland, including the assets and operations of Stradbroke Ferries, Bay Islands Transit and Transit Systems Gladstone.
SINGAPORE, 8 May, 2015 – London based Tower Transit Group Limited was today awarded the first tender under the Land Transport Authority’s new Government Contracting Model (GCM).
