Australia’s largest multi-model transport operator, Transit Systems, is proud to celebrate the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2025, with the launch of a head-turning, pink-wrapped bus, embracing the festival’s “FREE! TO BE” theme and reinforcing its commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The special one-off pink bus will be officially unveiled by Transit Systems on Tuesday 18 February in a public viewing parade of its own, down Oxford Street. Dedicated team members have added their own creative flair and decorating onboard the bus in the lead-up to its debut. The wrapped bus will then hit the streets in for regular service, in support of the LGBTQIA+ community, spreading a message of pride, visibility and equality throughout Sydney.

Among the Transit Systems team celebrating the moment is Geremy Roberts, a proud LGBTQIA+ team member, who said having visible support from employers makes a real difference.

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival runs from 14 February to 2 March 2025, bringing together communities to celebrate pride, love and self-expression.
